Roger Hestholm is an Associate Professor of Sociology in the HVL Business School at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. He holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Bergen (2004). His research interests include knowledge, culture, class, and youth. He has conducted cultural sociological studies of university subjects, the Norwegian middle- and working classes, and mobility aspirations among youth. He teaches courses on the sociology of the body, power, capitalism, language and interaction.
